Businesses OPEN During Road Closure
The Allegan County Road Commission construction project on the new roundabout at the intersection of Blue Start Highway and Old Allegan Road is underway. Saugatuck Township remains committed to supporting all impacted businesses, residents, patrons and visitors as we navigate the challenges this construction project has brought.
The coming roundabout will improve safety, slow traffic down, and is the first big step in the transition of Blue Star Highway from a through road to a downtown, pedestrian-friendly, business corridor!
Businesses beyond the barricade are still open! Please join us in supporting them and giving them extra love during this time, as business owners are an import part of the fabric of our community and could use the extra support through the road closure.
