The Roundabout is Complete!
The new roundabout at the intersection of Blue Star Highway and Old Allegan Road is now complete! This Allegan County Road Commission project aims to improve safety, calm traffic, and marks the first step in transforming Blue Star Highway into a pedestrian-friendly business corridor.
Throughout construction, Saugatuck Township remained committed to supporting impacted businesses, residents, and visitors. Local businesses continued to operate despite the roadwork, and the community came together to offer them extra support during the transition.
With the project now finished, the improved intersection enhances both traffic flow and accessibility, benefiting the entire area.
